Concord Research Systems

A UK-based consulting practice specializing in research engineering, data science, and exploratory analysis for research labs and data-driven teams across academia and industry. We serve clients from UK, US, EU, and the rest of the world.

Team

Concord Research Systems is led by Jungsoo Kim, PhD.

Jungsoo Kim is a neuroscientist and machine learning engineer. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from MIT and a B.S. in Biological Engineering from Cornell. His work spans biomedical optics, whole-brain imaging, large (TB-scale) scientific data pipelines, and probabilistic modeling, with a focus on building reliable research systems that turn complex data into reproducible, decision-ready insight. He has published peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Cell and Nature Methods.

Why me / unfair advantage

  • Scientific ML rigor: careful model selection, validation, and error analysis.
  • Reproducibility systems that survive handoffs and turnover.
  • TB-scale data pipelines built for real-world scientific datasets.
  • Deep research context in imaging, neuroscience, life sciences, and experimental data.
