Jungsoo Kim is a neuroscientist and machine learning engineer. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from MIT and a B.S. in Biological Engineering from Cornell. His work spans biomedical optics, whole-brain imaging, large (TB-scale) scientific data pipelines, and probabilistic modeling, with a focus on building reliable research systems that turn complex data into reproducible, decision-ready insight. He has published peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Cell and Nature Methods.
Why me / unfair advantage
- Scientific ML rigor: careful model selection, validation, and error analysis.
- Reproducibility systems that survive handoffs and turnover.
- TB-scale data pipelines built for real-world scientific datasets.
- Deep research context in imaging, neuroscience, life sciences, and experimental data.
